Mission and Vision Statements
Mission Statement
The mission of the Mays Grove Baptist Churc is "To please God by doing the work of the Kingdom and win souls by teaching Jesus; Him being born, Him dying for our sins, and Him being resurrected."
The vision of the Mays Grove Baptist Church is the following:
"I believe that the word of God is true and the only way to become a more excellent 'Bride of Christ' is by doing the will of God. We must evolve as a ministry, and in order to be the church that God is calling for, we have to take a serious look at some of our past practices. If traditions that we have held for decades work and are biblically sound, we will keep them. Those that aren't will be reevaluated. We must become 'Ministry Minded.' I believe that God has a plan to prosper us, not to harm us. I believe that God can do everything but fail." Ephesians 3:20-21
